Ben Utomo was raised in Palmdale, California. As a teenager, he started rapping for fun with his friends and found his passion. In 2007, Ben met some Indonesian rappers online through MySpace, which led to his exposure to the Indonesian hip-hop scene. He would move to Indonesia in 2010, quitting his job in 2017 to pursue a full-time career in music. As a founder of All Day Music – a platform to help pave the way for the next generation of Indo hip-hop artists.
Ben has managed to stay relevant amidst the ever-changing musical landscape, along the way releasing 4 albums countless mixtapes and singles such as “shakalaka boom boom” with 1.6M views, “Basion” with 1.4M views and “Slow Jam” hitting close to 1M views. Ben dropped his newest EP titled “23: The Playlist” in 2023.
